Faith and Film Series: Immigration Immigration has been a controversial subject at various points in our country's history, and the arguments and rhetoric have been heating up again recently.  Ian's Pastor's Class this fall will feature a film series that explores these issues in a nuanced way.  These four award-winning films (one drama and 3 documentaries) will help us learn what motivates people to enter our country illegally, what their stories and lives are like, and what effect their presence has on the American communities to which they move.  After each film there will be an opportunity for safe, respectful sharing of viewpoints and discussion of the issues in light of our faith.  These are public events and provide great opportunities to invite a friend!  Thursday evenings, 7-9 pm (9:30 pm on the first one) Oct 7, Oct 21, Nov 4, and Nov 18.
